Job Title: Junior 2D CAD Draughtsperson

Location: Rosedale, Auckland (Office-Based)
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Salary: $56,000 – $65,000 per annum + benefits

About the Role:

In this position, you will work closely with our power systems Electrical Engineering design team, producing accurate and high-quality 2D CAD drawings. Your role will involve:

  • Creating and modifying technical drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Collaborating with designers and other team members to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of drawings and project documentation.
  • Assisting in design development where required.

To be successful in this role, you should have/be:

  • Foundational experience with AutoCAD 2D (0-2 years of professional experience) and are keen to deepen your expertise.
  • Can interpret technical drawings and specifications with confidence or eager to refine this skill.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
  • A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset, ensuring accuracy in your work
  • Strong written and verbal English skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
  • A reliable, team-oriented mindset and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • A methodical approach to work.
  • New Zealand work rights and are based in Auckland.
  • Availability to start immediately (allowing for up to a 4-week notice period if required).
