Niko Engineering’s commitment to excellence in power systems protection has taken a leap forward with the successful completion of DIGSI-5 training at both its Christchurch and Hamilton offices. Lead by HV Power, the training sessions were focused on building DIGSI-5 relay settings for both standard and non-standard applications, and ensuring our engineers remain at the forefront of technological advancements in the industry.
The increasing adoption of the DIGSI-5 platform by Niko’s clients is a testament to its adaptability and customization. DIGSI-5 can be tailored to meet each client’s specific needs, all while maintaining the same physical form factor for any application, thereby enhancing its versatility and usability.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Elliot McKinnon, from HV Power, who conducted both training sessions and supported by Howard Wardley in Christchurch and Emily Liu in Hamilton. Our protection engineers found the training highly engaging, and were grateful for the additional time by the HV Power team answering questions and discussing some of the potential application scenarios that the DIGSI-5 platform can be used for.
